Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin which can occur in several forms: atopic (eczema), seborrheic, nummular, localized neurodermatitis, contact, chronic, exfoliative, and stasis.
Nursing Care for Dermatitis
- Prevent from infection wash hands.
- Assess Skin Daily for improvment of condition
- Prevent from complication as inflammation, irritation, or lesions.
- Identify signs of itching and scratching.
- Encourage the patient to adopt skin care routines to decrease skin irritation
- Apply topical moisturizing creams immediately after bathing.
- Apply topical steroid creams or ointments.
- Care for Diet Plan
